Hi-Tech Scotland’s recruitment partner Head Resourcing has been listed in the 2007 Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 annual league table for the second year in succession.
Achieving a listing of 9th place means Head was comfortably the fastest growing Scottish company and the second fastest growing recruitment company in the UK.
At a glittering ceremony at Richard Branson’s estate, the award was picked up by Founder, Gordon Adam, and Business Development Director, Lee Murray.
Lee, who has been with the firm for three years, said: “We are delighted to pick up this award for once again being in the Fast Track 100 and our second year in the top ten fastest growing companies in the UK.
“We achieved 9th place this year and 5th place in 2006 based on a Combined Annual Growth Rate [CAGR] of 158% - with our annual turnover increasing to around £10.4million.
“Once again, this pays testament to the fact that we have an excellent team of consultants at Head who provide the very best advice and service to our clients.
“To sustain our growth and keep achieving these fantastic results also proves the value of our approach which is to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients who, in turn remain very loyal to us.”
Gordon Adam, Managing Director of Head, said: “In today’s challenging trading conditions only companies who can demonstrate a true commitment allied to deep expertise and market knowledge are going to prosper.
“I am delighted at our team's fantastic achievements and I would like to thank all who have contributed to our success. This award is for them.”
Head’s clients come from a broad range of both established and smaller fast growing companies such as HBOS, Martin Currie and award winning software house, Craneware.
